Product Overview

The quantum correlation imaging device is based on the scattering imaging principle using a spatial light modulator (SLM). It replaces the rotating frosted glass traditionally used in conventional scattering imaging experiments with an SLM to generate pseudo-thermal light fields, and can also be used to reconstruct objects. By artificially controlling the illumination light field with an SLM, the intensity distribution of light reflected from the SLM that is detected by a surface-mounted CCD sensor can be calculated according to scalar diffraction theory. This approach not only eliminates the need for a reference optical path but also reduces the computational complexity to a certain extent, thereby optimizing the scattering imaging system. This equipment is suitable for teaching purposes in high schools and undergraduate institutions, and its simplified experimental procedure helps students grasp the relevant theoretical concepts more easily.
