The spatial polarization-encoded QKD system is an experimental demonstration system developed to meet the educational needs of students majoring in quantum mechanics, physics, optical communications, and related fields. The system is based on the BB84 protocol and employs polarization encoding, enabling key distribution under both fiber-optic and free-space channel conditions while remaining compatible with the B92 protocol. This system adopts a modular design, with separate optical and electrical modules for the transmitter and receiver. It operates in the visible light spectrum, features visible optical path adjustments, offers a spacious operating environment, and supports demonstration experiments covering protocol procedures such as state preparation, transmission, demodulation, and detection.
